Welcome to our new AI Metrics Analysis feature, powered by OpenAI GPT-4 and deployed on Azure! Our mission is to help you gain valuable insights from your metrics data quickly and easily.
This feature utilizes OpenAI service to process data from Delivery Dashboard and “Metrics & KPIs” widget (aka Manual Metrics), receiving summary and recommendations for end users.
Please note that our AI Metrics Analysis feature is currently a Proof of Concept and is only enabled on delivery.epam.com. Additionally, not all projects are included in this feature at this time.
Here's how it works:
Unit Metric Summary (UMS) is scheduled to be retrieved by Perf-backend.
UMS is pushed to OpenAI service and AI responds with summary and recommendations (prepared text) based on the data received.
Summary and recommendations are displayed on the Delivery Metrics page in text format through the use of DC Core Annotation cards in the predefined (pinned on top) section “AI Metrics Analysis”.

We want to assure you that we take your data privacy seriously. We do not send any sensitive data to Azure. We only send metrics values that are required for analysis. |
Here are some important things to keep in mind:
Summary and recommendations from OpenAI service are scheduled to be updated once per 2 weeks.
The POC currently only supports the processing of Scalar and Manual Metrics for the last 20 items with a depth-limited history of data in 6 months.
The POC is only working for data at Stream/Project levels.
“Key Staff” is able to leave a feedback by clicking on “like” or “dislike” button (text feedback is available on dislike only), so it can later be used for improving the service.
Global Admins can manually request updates for recommendations through REST.
