1. Types of Targets

There are four several types of targets in the Planner application: Objective, Key Result, Initiative, and Milestone., according to the table below

Example

Objective

Objective according to the OKR methodology, this is a big and ambitious goal. An Objective is to be formulated as a short sentence, understandable for the entire team. The grade for achieving this goal is measured by Key Results.

Increase system performance.

Key Result

The desired result after performing a series of actions. Reaching the result, you can understand how much the Objective is accomplished. The key result can be measured by the per cent or quantity of something.

Increase the ability for users to work simultaneously by 15%.

 

Initiative

A small goal or a specific action you need to do to achieve a small goal (other Initiative), Key Result or bigger goal (Objective).
