Welcome to automating metrics in the "Targets & KPIs" widget! This feature allows you to automate manual metrics using custom metrics, streamlining your data analysis process. Below are the steps to automate metrics seamlessly:
Accessing Automation Options:
Navigate to the "Targets & KPIs" widget in your dashboard.
Locate the manual metric you wish to automate.
Initiating Automation:
Click on the dots menu icon next to the manual metric you want to automate.
Selecting Automation:
From the dropdown menu, choose the "Automate" option.
Choosing Custom Metric:
A catalog for automation will appear. Here, you can select the custom metric that you want to use for automation.
Selecting Metric Series:
Once you've chosen the custom metric, select the specific series associated with it. This series will be used to automate the value of your manual metric.
Automation Process:
After selecting the custom metric and its series, the automation process will be initiated.
The value of your manual metric will be automatically updated based on the data from the selected series of the custom metric.
Default Data Load Frequency:
By default, the data load process runs once every two weeks.
The frequency of data loading can also be determined by the cadence (expiry period) chosen for the manual metric.
