Targets & KPIs Automation

Welcome to automating metrics in "Targets & KPIs"! This feature allows you to automate your manual metrics using Perf custom metrics, streamlining your data analysis process. Below are the steps:

1. Accessing Automation Options:

   • Navigate to the "Targets & KPIs" widget in your dashboard.

   • Locate the manual metric you wish to automate.

2. Initiating Automation:

   • Click on the dots menu icon next to the manual metric.

   • From the dropdown menu, choose the "Automate" option.

3. Choosing Custom Metric:

   • A catalog for automation will appear. Here, you can choose the custom metric you wish to utilize.

4. Selecting Metric Series:

   • Once you've chosen the custom metric, select the specific series associated with it. This series will be used to automate the value of your manual metric.

6. Automation Process:

   • After selecting the custom metric and its series, the automation process will be initiated.

   • The value of your manual metric will be automatically updated based on the data from the selected series of the custom metric.

7. Default Data Load Frequency:

   • By default, the data load process runs once every two weeks.

   • The frequency of data loading can also be determined by the cadence (expiry period) chosen for the manual metric.

8. Cancelling Automation:

   • If you wish to stop the automation for a specific metric, click on the dots menu icon next to the manual metric and look for the "Stop Automation" button.
