Elements of Delivery Metrics Dashboard Page Layout

This sub-section describes layout terminology and elements.

Layout Elements

The Delivery Metrics Dashboard pages contain the following elements of layout:

  • Section
    An area that contains cards of any type. Examples of the default sections: Summary, Overall delivery status, Advanced monitoring, Key Metrics.

  • Card 
    A compact content area that contains details on some specific narrow aspect.
    There are two types of cards:

    • Annotation card.

    • Metrics card.

How to Handle a Section 

This sub-section describes how to handle a new or an existing section and fill it in with the respective cards. It contains the instructions on how to:

Add a Section

This sub-section describes how to add a section on the Delivery Metrics page.

To add a section:

  1. Open Delivery Metrics page, and then point to the area below an existing section, until you see the "New section" title.

  2. Click the New section, and then enter a title for the section to be added.

  3. Press Enter.

  4. Choose a type of card to be added, and click Add. The New <Card Type> dialog box opens.

  5. On the dialog box, enter the required data, and then click Add. The system adds new card in the section.

Move a Section

This sub-section describes how to move a section within Delivery Metrics page.

To move a section:

  1. Open Delivery Metrics page and point to the section to be moved. The system displays the section toolbar.

  2. On the section toolbar, click down arrow (↓) or up arrow (↑). The system moves the section down or up.

     

How to Handle a Card

This sub-section describes how to handle a card in an existing section. It contains the instructions on how to:

Add a Card in an Existing Section

This sub-section describes how to add a card to an existing section on Delivery Metrics page.

To add a card: 

  1. Open Delivery Metrics page and point to the section to be moved. The system displays the section toolbar.

  2. On the section toolbar, click Add. The card type menu opens.

  3. Click the type of card to be added. The New <Card Type> dialog box opens.

  4. On the dialog box, enter the required data, and then click Add. The system adds the new card in the section.

Move a Card

This sub-section describes how to move a card within a page. By means of drag-and-drop operation you can change a card location inside a section, or between sections on the page.

To move a card:

  1. Open Delivery Metrics page and hover over the icon to the right of the card you want to move until the pointer turns to the "move" shape.

  2. Drag the card to the required position and point the pointer cross exactly on the drop position, until the system highlights this position.

  3. Drop the card on the required position.
