How metric works

Chart overview

Chart shows the number of items in an active sprint today but not ready for development - number in the center. Target value is above the chart.

By click on a chart a pop up appears with the following information got from the task tracking system:

  • Issue ID

  • Type

  • Priority

  • Summary

Calculation

Items not Ready but in Active sprints is a number of not ready items assigned to an active sprint for today.

RAG thresholds: Red - metric value  > 0; Green - metric value = 0.

Assumptions

1 Calculation considers the latest active sprint. If there are several active sprints, metric sum ups values for all sprints. Assignment to a sprint matters.

2  Not ready item is an item that doesn't meet the criteria set in Project Settings>Data sources>Task Tracking System>Scope management>Definition of Ready.

Data Source

Data for the metric can be collected from a task tracking system (Jira, TFS, Rally, etc.).
