Add New CSV Dataset

Here's how to upload your data and use it in Custom Metrics

1 Click Table.

2 Click Add New Dataset.

3 Drag and drop csv file or click Upload CSV and choose csv file.

File requirements

  1. Maximum file size : 50 MB

  2. Table should have headers

  3. Column names must be:

    • Unique

    • Started with a letter and can be followed by letters, numbers, or underscores  

    • No spaces

 Example of csv:

4 Check the column’s data type in your result set or change in via drop-down menu. Knowing a column’s data type can be helpful for troubleshooting, especially when performing arithmetic operations.

Preview table shows first 100 rows.

5 Type Name.

Name restrictions

  • Dataset must have a unique name

  • Allowed characters: Letters (Latin), numeric characters, underscore.

  • Spaces are not allowed.

6 Click Save.

Download Uploaded Dataset

1 Click Table.

2 Click tree-dots menu for the nessesary dataset in the section Uploaded Dataset and click

Remove Uploaded Dataset

A dataset removal affects all custom metrics based on it: dataset is removed from all metrics.

1 Click Table.

2 Click tree-dots menu and click Delete

3 Confitm removal, by clicking Delete.

Update Dataset

1 Remove nesessary dataset

2 Upload updated csv file (see Add new CSV dataset) with following next rules:

  • New dataset name, column names and types must have to be the same as in prevous dataset.

If uploaded dataset will have another name or renamed columns based on which a custom metric is build (coulumns which are on Axises or used in the PerfQL) then Custom Metric configuration will be erasing.
