Problem statement

In some cases it is necessary to pick not a whole project in JIRA for connecting to PERF board, but just a sub-set of project issues: for example that might be an Agile Board (in case if multiple boards are used at the project to manage multiple teams) or just a dedicated "saved filter". In such cases PERF asks for JIRA "filter id" to be provided. As this can be tricky and not everyone knows at once how to obtain such "filter id" from JIRA, this page explains it.

Option 1 - take a filter from Agile Board

1. Go to your Agile Board in JIRA -> Board -> Configuration
   
   
   
2. In the "General" area of the board configuration - find the "Edit Filter Query" or "View Filter Query" (depending on your permissions) - and pick the value of "requestId" parameter while hovering mouse over an link.
   
   
   
3. In this example the "83540" is a required "filter id" which can be provided to PERF application.

Option 2 - take an id of saved filter (not mapped to Agile Board)

1. Go in JIRA to "Issues" -> "Manage Filters"
   
   
   
2. Hover on a required filter and check its id in the status bar
   
   
   
3. In this example, the "73206" is a required "filter id" for PERF application.
