Enhance Sprint execution

  1. Identify distractors during Sprint execution, create buffer task and ask to log time with comments for any not planned activities. Having this info, we can either eliminate additional tasks not in scope, or plan them ahead

  2. Assess time spent on bug fixing metric, and allocate more time on bug fixing and verification activity, OR add dedicated bug handling task estimated in exact number of hours

  3. Stop sprint and make re-planning in case sprint goal is no longer actual, or 70% of sprint scope is not of priority anymore

  4. Introduce dependency tracking practice (like Gantt chart or links in Atlassian JIRA)

  5. Ensure to have PO available during sprint execution, or introduce proxy person who can support team from reqs clarification and confirmation perspective – this is the case when tricky of edge cases are discovered only during implementation and require quick decision making during sprint execution
