Highlights of Health Map

What Highlight Is

The highlight functionality allows you to view recent events and promptly respond to these events.

You can highlight units with the pre-defined events for a status selected on the Health Map by selecting any radio button needed:

  • New RED  - means that a unit became red during the past two weeks.

  • New AMBER - means that a unit became amber during over the past two weeks.

  • Chronic RED - means that a unit is red for more than two weeks.

  • Chronic AMBER - means that a unit is amber for more than two weeks.

  • Forecasted RED event - means that a unit's Forecast status has become RED during the past two weeks. (available only for Overall status).

Units highlighted are the units of the lowest level of the selected in the Hierarchy. On the example in Fig.1 the units are Streams.

List of Highlights and time period mentioned below is a subject of application configuration.

The figures later demonstrate how highlight changes the Health Map content:

How to Use Highlight

The highlights functionality allows you to set highlight conditions on the Health Map and to get an instant view through the highlight tooltip.

To highlight units on Health Map:

  1. On the Status control choose the status needed.

  2. On the unit zoom control, select unit levels to set a required depth of representation, like L 4 — L5.

  3. On the highlighting panel, select a highlighting button, like New RED.

Important Note

  • The highlight applies to the last level that you set on the zoom control.
For example, if you set L 1 — L 2 — L 3, exactly the L3  level determines the layer of units for highlight.

  • There may be a bad combination of level-highlight that makes highlight impossible.
