Providing data for Aggregation
In order to get a comprehensive aggregated view of the progress of child units, these child units must provide the required data to the aggregation dataset. Based on the aggregation datasets, aggregated metrics are built, that is, the aggregated metric is calculated based on the data provided from the child units.
Prerequisites
As a user who have to provide data into the aggregation datasets, ensure that the following conditions are met:
You have the Key Staff permissions.
You are on a unit that should provide data to an aggregation dataset
There is an aggregation dataset where you need to provide data
Provide Data
Find the required metric in the metric catalog and click the gear button.
Click Aggregate to
Select required Aggregation Dataset from theAggregate to dropdown.
Match the data from your custom metric with the data for the aggregation dataset.
Click Save.
Note
Metric can contain more fields than the aggregation dataset, but not less. That is, all fields of the aggregation dataset must be present in the metric, on the X or Y axes.
Note
In one unit, you can only provide data once to the same aggregation dataset. If an aggregation dataset has already been selected on a unit and the unit provides data to this dataset, then it is hidden from the list of available datasets for providing data.
Cancel Providing Data
Find required metric that provides data to an Aggregation Dataset in the Metric Catalog.
Clcik Aggreagate to.
Click Delete.
After cancelation of providing data to aggregation dataset, the custom metric data will be excluded from the aggregated metric.
