This section explains how to start using the Planner application.
1. Start Planner and Set View
To start the Planner application:
On the main menu of Delivery Central, click Planner and choose the preferable view: Timeline or List.
1.1 Timeline View
Timeline is a view, that gives you the possibilities to:
Change order of your work items via Drag and Drop (DnD).
Work with Gantt Chart: prolong/shorten your plans, monitor plans, easily link targets with time-dependencies (finish to start, start to finish, start to start, finish to finish).
1.1.1 Show / Hide Elements of View
There are three controls to change the view of Timeline:

Expand / Collapse | Expands / collapses the Targets panel |
Full Screen | Expands the application window to full screen |
3.1.2 Set Timeline Scale
There are three controls to view hidden or small-scale elements on Timeline:
Name | Description |
---|---|
Today | The timeline jumps to the present day. |
Zoom | Changes the Timeline scale according to your selection: Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Year. |
– / + | Changes the Timeline scale to show hidden parts. Note. You can also use the scrollbar at the bottom of the Timeline panel. |
3.1.3 Manage Columns
This section describes how to manage columns in the Targets panel. You can show or hide three columns: Status, Progress, and Dates.
To show/hide columns:
In the upper right, click the Setting (gear) icon. The Column Manager sidebar opens.
To show/hide a column, select or clear the respective checkbox.
Click Close.
3.2 List view
Displays targets in the table as a list.
3.2.1 Show / Hide Elements of View
There are two controls to change the view of Timeline:

List view panel that displays targets, represents for each parent target both child targets and all linked targets. Thus List view representation differs from the hierarchical view demonstrating only parent-child nodes.
3.2.2 Manage Columns
This section describes how to manage columns in the List view. There are five columns you can show or hide: Progress, Owner, Contributors, Period, and Tags.
To show/hide columns:
In the upper right, click the Setting (gear) icon. The Column Manager sidebar opens.
To show/hide a column, select or clear the respective icon.
Click Close.
