Timeline View

Timeline View gives you the possibilities to:

  1. Change order of your work items via Drag and Drop (DnD).

  2. Work with Gantt Chart: prolong/shorten your plans, monitor plans, easily link targets with time-dependencies (finish to start, start to finish, start to start, finish to finish).

List View

List View gives you the possibilities to:

  1. See targets as a list.

  2. Easily update every editable column via table.

  3. See Average Completion Rate per target types.

There is a limitation to display 500 targets per unit.
In case if you don’t see your targets in Timeline or List View, try to apply a filter to narrow down the quantity of visible targets. For intstance, apply filter by Status: “Completed” to see only active tasks.

Timeline and List View differences

Please, pay attention, that Timeline view differs from the List view:

  1. Timeline displays only parent - child relations between targets (hierarchically).
Example: An Initiative is decomposed to 3 child targets.
In case, if a target just linked to another one (no parent-child connection), then these relations are not displayed in the Timeline yet (it will be implemented in future).
Example: an Initiative from the different unit contributes to an Objective.

  2. List View displays all targets relations:

    1. Parent - child

    2. Just linked targets, without a parent-child connection.
Example: an Initiative from the different unit contributes to an Objective.

In future, Timeline will be aligned to the List view (same Table and relations will be displayed).

2. Open Unit

In Planner application you can find and open a required unit, using Units Hierarchy, Global Search and other options. Please, read the details: Getting Started. Navigation
