Snapshot provides a visual comparison between an initial state of the timeline (baseline) , and a modified state.
When applied, the baseline looks like dark gray grey lines below the targets of the modified timeline.

On the Planner toolbar, click Snapshot → Create New Snapshot. The Snapshot Name dialog dialogue box opens.
Enter the snapshot name, and then click Add. The system creates a snapshot of the current state of the timeline.
