1. Start Planner

To start the Planner application:

On the main menu of Delivery Central, click Planner and choose the preferable view: Timeline or List (Fig. 1).

Timeline is a view, that gives you the possibilities to:

Change order of your work items via Drag and Drop (DnD).
Work with Gantt Chart: prolong/shorten your plans, monitor plans, easily link targets with time-dependencies (finish to start, start to finish, start to start, finish to finish).

List is a view, that gives you the possibilities to:

See targets as a list.
Easily update every editable column via table.
See Average Completion Rate per target types.

Timeline and List View differences

Please, pay attention, that Timeline view differs from the List view:

Timeline displays only parent - child relations between targets (hierarchically).
Example: An Initiative is decomposed to 3 child targets.
In case, if a target contributes to another one (no parent-child connection), then these relations are not displayed in the Timeline yet (it will be implemented in future).
Example: an Initiative contributes to an Objective.
List View displays all targets relations:
1. Parent - child
2. And contributions (targets, just linked without a parent-child connection).
  Example: an Initiative contributes to an Objective.

In future, Timeline will be aligned to the List view (same Table, Relations will be displayed).

2. Open Unit

In Planner application you can find and open a required unit, using Units Hierarchy, Global Search and other options. Please, read the details: Getting Started. Navigation

3. Set Timeline and List View Settings

3.1. Timeline View

3.1.1. Manage Columns

This section describes how to manage columns in the Timeline View. You can show or hide columns via Column Manager. List of columns:

STATUS
PROGRESS
PERIOD
LAST UPDATED

To show/hide columns:

In the upper right, click the Setting (gear) icon. The Column Manager sidebar opens (Fig. 2).
To show/hide a column, select or clear the respective checkbox → Updates will be applied automatically (Fig. 3).

3.1.2 Set Timeline Scale

There are controls to view elements on Timeline (Fig. 4):

Name

Description

Today

The timeline jumps to the present day

Zoom

Changes the Timeline scale according to your selection: Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Year

– / +

Changes the Timeline scale to show hidden parts

Note. You can also use the scrollbar at the bottom of the Timeline panel

3.1.3. Show / Hide Elements of View

There are controls to change the view of Timeline:

Show / Hide Hierarchy	Action bar → Show option	Toggle to show/hide Units' structure of targets. By default, the toggle should be turned on. If the toggle is turned off, then the System should display: “Unit” column in the table Targets hierarchy without hierarchy by units. If the toggle is turned on, then the System should display: Targets hierarchy with hierarchy by units (from current to nested units) Chip "Units Hierarchy" on the Action bar. By clicking "cross" button of the chip, the System should turn off the toggle. The System should hide: Unit column
Show / Hide Only Units with Targets	Action bar → Show option	Toggle to show/hide units with targets. By default, should be turned off: The System should display all existing units: units with targets and empty units. When "Show Only Units with Targets" is turned on, then: The System should display only units with targets: The System should display the chip in the Action bar By clicking "cross" button of the chip, the System should turn off the toggle
Show Only Current Unit	Action bar → Show option	Toggle to show: Targets only of the current unit, or Targets of the current and nested units By default, should be turned off, the System displays the current unit and nested units. When toggle "Show Only Current Unit" is turned on, then the System should: Show only current unit, without nested units. Show the chip on the Action bar
Full Screen	Action bar → Full Screen option	Expands the application window to full screen
Expand / Collapse	Table with targets	Expands / collapses the Targets panel

3.2 List view

3.2.2 Manage Columns

This section describes how to manage columns in the List view. You can show or hide columns via Table column settings sidebar. List of columns:

To show/hide columns:

In the upper right, click the Columns button on the action bar. The Table column settings sidebars opens.
To show/hide a column, click on the “Eye” icon of the respective icon → Updates will be applied automatically.

3.2.1 Show / Hide Elements of View

There are controls to change the view of Timeline:
