Category purpose

Metrics from this category allow to estimate a backlog stability and maturity of the requirements management processes on your project, using the available metrics and graphs. This can indirectly indicate how efficient is a team of Business Analysts / Product Owners.

 

Key assumptions on quality and productivity of BA on the project:

  • All necessary materials are "Ready" for the development before the iteration starts, and contain proper estimations and priorities

  • All items are decomposed into sub-issues before sprint start

  • Requirements are detailed and consistent, so little to no questions appear from Dev team

  • Project has enough BA capacity so that team has enough requirements prepared upfront

Efforts on charts within this screen are measured in either Story Points, Estimated Hours or Work Items, depending on an option selected at the top of the screen.
