Purpose

Unresolved Bugs Older Than a Month (all priorities) shows the amount of defects (all priorities) which has not been resolved since more than a month.

Unresolved Bugs Older Than a Month (all priorities) helps to monitor the efficiency of the quality assurance process in a project. Suggested acceptable indicator value is <20. Calculation is based on issues created within last 90 days.

Chart shows Unresolved Bugs Older Than a Month (all priorities) in amount of all defects in not completed statuses that were created more than 30 days ago.

Calculation

Unresolved Bugs Older Than a Month (all priorities) is measured as a number of issues with not closed status more the one month

where,

issue type is Bug,

Creation Date is older than 'current date minus 30 days.

The metrics calculates issues that were created within last 90 days.

RAG thresholds:  Red - metric value > 20; Green - metric value = < 20. 

Data Source

Data for the metric can be collected from a task tracking system (Jira, TFS, Rally, etc.).
