Jenkins Integration

Having configured Jenkins the following metrics will be available:

To connect to Jenkins it is necessary to:

1. Provide API URL.

If you're using the CloudBees Enterprise Jenkins

In case if you're using the CloudBees Enterprise Jenkins, please pay attention to put the right URL into PERF.

You need to specify API URL to the exact Node where Jenkins jobs used for the project exist.

2. Enter Login and Password or "API Token".

On how to generate API Tokens in Jenkins please refer to the https://jenkins.io/blog/2018/07/02/new-api-token-system/.

3. Fill in at least one field in "Select parameters" box. This information will be used in metrics calculation:

Select jobs for overall monitoring - information will be used for the metrics:
Select jobs used for deployment to production environment/to other environment - information will be used for Deployment Frequency metric.
Select pipelines to monitor deployment process - information will be used for the metrics:

In case you have configured the data source before, you will see only selected items in the corresponding drop-down list. To see all available items, click a button 'Get list of parameters'

4. Click Save to finish.

5. Click Run Data Load to start a data load.
